Women's Guild

Filling Homes remains the legacy of Mrs. Carrie Filling Vajen and the Lutheran Church. Filling Homes was established in 1959 to provide services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Filling Homes has relied upon the support of its association of 42 Lutheran congregations to be able to accomplish its mission.

Much of this support has been the hands-on service of the Women's Guild. For over 60 years, the Women's Guild has been identifying the needs of Filling Homes' residents and stepping up to insure that they are met.
