Hanson Aquatic and Wellness Center
Welcome to the Hanson Aquatic and Wellness Center.
The therapy pool with a capacity of 65 allows for all individuals who receive services from Filling Homes an environment for individual or group aquatic therapy services and activities. Mechanical lifts allow for accessibility in and out of the pool for individuals with mobility needs. The pool is 3-5' deep with balance bars, a chair lift, steps and hand rails.
The gymnasium, allows individuals to participate in many activities such as adapted sports, movie nights, and arts and crafts. Social events, such as dances and holiday parties are also held in this area. The gymnasium is also used for staff trainings, meetings, and various other activities. The Therapy Center has allowed the Filling Homes' Ladies Guild to sponsor their successful Fall Fling and Festival of Tables.
In addition, this area also houses offices and therapy space for Filling Homes physical, occupational, speech, and recreational therapists.
Pool/Fitness Room Membership
The Therapy Center provides many wonderful benefits to Filling Homes residents and to the members of the surrounding community. You can enjoy fitness and fun when you become a member of the Filling Homes Therapy Center.
Memberships application include access to the Gym/Fitness Room, Aquatic Center, or both depending on the membership level purchased.
The gymnasium is a full-size gym and is utilized for recreational activities, parties, home school athletic events, Special Olympics and adapted physical education sessions. Our newest addition is a fully equipped fitness room, which includes both cardio and weight lifting equipment.
The Aquatic Center has a schedule of open swim time 7 days a week to meet individual needs. In addition, Filling Homes conducts a group Arthritis Class weekly from 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and Aerobic Classes weekly from 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. on Thuesday and Thursday. These classes are free with a pool membership.

Facility Rental Information
The Hanson Aquatic and Wellness Center is the perfect site to consider renting for your next event or party. Organizations, churches, and family groups are welcome to rent our facilities for on-going or single day events.
The gymnasium is full sized and can be utilized for recreational, athletic, and social events such as birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, graduations, or meetings. Seating in the Gymnasium accommodates 100 people with 24 six foot tables available.
The Aquatic Center houses our therapy pool and can also be rented for recreational and social events such as birthday parties, Girl/Boy Scout Club parties, schools, and church youth groups. The pool accommodations vary depending on group age and group size.
Rental Combo includes two (2) hours of gym access with an overlapping one (1) hour in the pool. Doors open 30 minutes before the event and lock 30 minutes after the event.
Example: Pool 1:00-2:00 PM and Gym 1:00-3:00 PM. Doors open at 12:30 PM and lock at 3:30 PM.
