Festival of Tables
The Festival of Tables has been an annual event of the Women’s Guild benefitting the residents and clients of Filling Homes since 1998. Though the location has moved from the churches to the Filling Home, the format has worked well, and so it remains the same. The Guild provides the venue, the meal and the entertainment. The generous hostesses take it from there. They design the table in the theme of their own interest and then invite seven guests who each donate $15 for a seat at the table. All of the proceeds go to fund a project or a piece of equipment for Filling Homes that the Guild chooses to support.
Over the years, this special gift has gone to the purchase of adaptive equipment, resident property, and even a memory tree for the chapel, but as Filling Homes services have grown into the community, the Guild has also chosen to support the gardening and the art programs for adult day services. In 2016, the need was seen in the newest adult day service center, the Filling Homes Community Center.

September 28, 2019
The Women's Guild of Filling Homes celebrated the 20th annual Festival of Tables event to benefits the people with developmental disabilities served by Filling Homes! Time was taken to look back over the past 20 years of events and of course, a delightful lunch was enjoyed by all.
Your generous support of the Festival of Tables will provide Trinity Place, Filling Homes' Adult Day Service center in Bryan, with a new commercial-grade paper shredder to continue the confidential shredding business, which in turn makes the paid employment training service program possible!
Thank you!! A special thank you to Bonnie Ohlrich, Mickey Baker and all the ladies of the Guild who worked so hard to organize this day.
Thank you to the volunteers from Hosanna, Grand Rapids, and St Augustine, Napoleon, for helping to serve the meals and thank you to Thrivent Action Teams #livegenerously for sponsoring the event.
