Resident assistants are part of a team that work directly with our residents. You must be 18 years of age, able to read and write with good comprehension, must have a High School Diploma or GED, have a genuine interest in working with individuals with mental retardation and demonstrate patience and good judgment. The position will serve eligible individuals with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities and assist residents in areas of daily care; mobility; dining; lifting; proper body alignment, and habilitation training. Direct Care Staff work directly with residents in group home settings and our supported living sites. In addition to the requirements for resident assistant, an additional requirment is having a valid driver's license, good driving record and proof of insurance. Full and part time positions covering all three shifts are available.
